It was the perfect ending... even though he won, Sasuke still wasn't able to defeat Itachi on his own terms. He abandoned his village, had to do God-only-knows-what with Orochimaru, sulked, brooded and emo'd for several years... and he still pretty much failed. How's the revenge tasting now, Emo-boy?!!! What a flippin' loser.
